<h2>Overview</h2>

<p>The Generali Operations Service Platform (GOSP) supports the Generali Group in optimizing its digital services, its service quality and the creation of synergies. GOSP uses common technology platforms for the Group. As a joint venture partner, Accenture provides expertise to support transformation, innovation and scaling. GOSP develops solutions for digitalization and the introduction of a cloud-centric model. GOSP includes IT infrastructure, procurement, and security operations, among others.</p>

<h3>That is the job</h3>

<p>Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry &ndash; a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies. Over almost 200 years, we have built a multinational Group that is present in more than 60 countries, with 470 companies and nearly 80,000 employees.&nbsp;GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform - is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group&#39;s innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1.000 people.</p>

<p>The international team is looking for &ldquo;Cloud Solution Architects&rdquo; with proficiency in defining, establishing, evolving, and executing governance controls and frameworks specifically for cloud computing environments across the globe, cloud platforms and cloud-based services and IT resources, in support of organizational and technological governance requirements.</p>

<p>Being key members of the team to design, establish and execute a Group wide Cloud policy. This includes:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Design solutions aligned with the Group Cloud Framework and the Group Cloud Standard or by custom tailoring</li>
	<li>Integrate security by design into the developed solutions</li>
	<li>Act as the technical focal point, understand the business needs of specific requirements and develop best fitting solutions</li>
	<li>Identify gaps in the GOSP standard cloud services and, if necessary, find alternative solutions / temporary workarounds</li>
	<li>Act as pivot to integrate the designed cloud solution interacting with other infrastructure domains</li>
	<li>Document the solution architecture</li>
	<li>Collect all the elements necessary to provide a cost estimate for the cloud solution</li>
	<li>Support and promote further group-wide standardization and harmonization among the legal entities&rsquo; cloud implementation efforts</li>
	<li>Support Customers in defining their cloud strategy (i.e. migration strategy, migration planning, cloud adoption models, etc.)</li>
	<li>In case of need, support the RFI/RFP process to identify third parties for specific cloud activities delivery</li>
	<li>Collection, evaluation, recording and monitoring of the Cloud initiatives as handed in by the Legal entities</li>
	<li>Execute and improve the Group Cloud monitoring and reporting processes&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Maintain and evolve the Cloud Group Standard in terms of technical, operational, security and infrastructure architecture</li>
	<li>Keep the cloud inventory updated for all the cloud initiatives</li>
	<li>Support other internal stakeholders (Procurement, Legal, Compliance, etc.) for any activity needed to provide the solution in alignment with the Group Cloud process</li>
</ul>

<h3>Profile</h3>

<p>Technical skills:</p>

<ul>
	<li>The candidate is already certified as Cloud Architect for one or more of the most relevant cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and is wishing to continue a cloud learning path</li>
	<li>The candidate has robust knowledge of how to manage most common IaaS and PaaS services provided by AWS and Azure combined with ability to understand and sketch cloud architecture diagrams</li>
	<li>The candidate is proficient in Infrastructure as Code methodology with special reference to Terraform and GitLab CI/CD technologies</li>
	<li>The candidate understands the most relevant issues related to hybrid (cloud and on-premises) solutions</li>
	<li>The candidate understands the importance of cloud cost management</li>
</ul>

<p>Soft skills:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Commit on time-bounded delivery plans</li>
	<li>Operate and execute in a service delivery model with KPIs measurement</li>
	<li>Actively collect and solicit information collection/support from other units &amp; departments till the goal achievement</li>
	<li>Manage customer interaction in respect of the tasks described above</li>
</ul>

<p>Previous experiences:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Must have either:
	<ul>
		<li>at least 5 years of experience as Cloud Architect with governance skills, or</li>
		<li>at least 5 years of experience as Governance control function with strong cloud skills</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>Language requirements:</p>

<ul>
	<li>fluent in written and oral English and German: at least B2 certified level, C1 preferred</li>
	<li>intermediate level (B1) of at least one of the following languages in order of preference: Italian, French, Spanish</li>
